Water Treatment Facility
The Water Treatment Utility Team is responsible for providing safe drinking water to the citizens of Decatur. The water is stored and treated at this facility and maintained by the City Crew. Tony Estes serves as the water quality supervisor and closely monitors the quality of the drinking water.
The City of Decatur maintains a "Superior" rating and extensively test the water to assure that the system maintains this rating.

Decatur has a water supply of 2,600,000 gallons of treated water.
The surface water source for the Decatur Water Supply comes from Lake Bridgeport.
