Otaku Club (Anime/Manga Club)
Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
The Decatur Public Library is happy to announce that we have started an anime and manga club! This is the perfect opportunity to meet other Otaku in the area and make new friends. The activities include showing your favorite manga or graphic novels, watching anime, and talking about why we love them. As our club grows we are hoping to add other fun activities. Perks include a discount price on ordering manga and graphic novels through the Decatur Public Library, and sharing your Otaku ways with the rest of us. Oh, and there will be snacks. Now, there are a couple of things that are Library Law. If you are under the age of thirteen you will need a signed consent form from your parents. You may ask for one at the front desk at the Decatur Public Library. Miss Diane or Miss Denice will be most happy to help you. If you are bringing any anime that you wish to show during our meetings you must bring it into the library a few days before the meeting so that Miss Diane or Miss Denice can view it. If this sounds like the club for you then please join us. We hope to see you there!
